Getting the most our of your Marimba

Place the marimba in an environment where your child usually spends the majority of their time and feels safe, such as the living room. This is important because children play to be listened to as well.

Take extra effort to ensure that playing the instrument seems like your child's idea, not yours.

It is very important to encourage your child to play shorter but more frequently, instead of long marathon learning sessions. Just like breathing, you want to make music become a part of their lives, not just take a deep breath and hold it for as long as possible.
